Software Deployment

I am trying to figure out what is the easiest way to redeploy and application with some more features enabled. We use HP Radia as the application deployment server so simply reimporting the application to the app server is not a viable option since Radia will force all clients to be reinstalled. I just want to enable a currently disabled feature of Lotus Notes Client without having to have the application deployed multiple times or without having to redeploy the application all together. I have yet to get a patch to work but I hear that is one method.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.
