Repackaging: see your other query.
You take a preconfigured package and change its configuration. (integrate patches, serials or similar directly into the package)
https://www.kace.com/en/products/freetools/appdeploy-repackager/ is one solution for (Windows) MSI
For Linux you can use the repackagers of the repository managers (like dpkg-deb for Debian-family)
