I have to run reports of all the assets in my company that are out of warranty. I noticed that I am able to run a Dell based out of warranty report. Is there any way to run an out of warranty report of non Dell products?

Than you for the help. It will be greatly apperciated

KACE is linked in to the Dell warranty check mechanism and downloads this information periodically.  Unfortunately, there are no such links for other manufacturers.

In our environment, we have ship date and warranty information manually entered into each item's Asset record.  We run our reports based on that data.

If you need to get warranty data for Apple products I have a system in place to do that. I would have to write up documentation but I have been meaning to do that for a while so it would give me an excuse.

  • We would need one for HP machines - cjohnson4 7 years ago
    • Maybe you can use this:

Have the script run on the machines and then use a custom inventory rule to pull the Warranty info into the inventory. - chucksteel 7 years ago
