Visual Studio Enterprise 6.0 and XP SP2

We are trying to deploy VS 6 on XP Sp2 DELL 745. When the software setup start we get a WPIE15.exe error. We did tried the samething on DELL GX620 and everything is fine.

Is it a way to prevent that error to appear?

From memory, this is a tool to extract files from cabinet (CAB) files. Possibly the target drive is full? Too many files in TEMP folder? No write access to TEMP folder?

Get hold of and use ProcMon (from SysInternals, now subsumed into Microsoft's empire) and you should get more f a clue about what's going on.
