Visual Basic 6

Application is not working without admin rights. Does VB 6 applications require local admin rights to run? Please let me know if anyone has worked on this application.

What this has to do with 'Package Development' I'm not sure but an app which requires local admin rights to run is probably trying to write to protected areas. Whether it's VB6 or an app created with VB6 (your post isn't clear about that) is irrelevant. Assign appropriate permissions to the areas being written to. Use ProcMon to determine what those areas are: you'll see bunchs of 'ACCESS DENIED' errors in procMon's output window.

If, however, the app is actually checking privilege level (perhaps whether the logged-in user is a member of the local 'Administrators' group), there's not really much you can do.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
