Verify that the package exists and...

Hey guys,

Ok, in the domain of weird problems, here's mine for this morning, and your help would greatly be appreciated.

I basically have 2 test PC's I use on 2 different domains. My problematic package works fine when installed on the local PC of the first domain. If I try the same package, same source path from the second PC, I get the "This installation package could not be opened" message.

Now, on both PC's, my package is copied locally, which is intented. The MSI is then launched locally. What's weird is I don't get any errors in my event viewer, and to say that my log file is light would be an upgrade. Here's a paste of the log file as it stands now.

Does anyone have a hint of what my problem could be? Googling gave me a few tries here and there, nothing succesful. I've also tried re installing Windows Installer 3.1 over my current 3.1 installation, nothing there too.

My paths are also good, I've tried them manually, and I can access them without issues either.

Thanks for your help guys

Stephane

Nevermind! Found my problem: NTFS security wasn't properly set!

Thanks again!
