Hello Peoples

Can you guys help me out to make 2 VBscript, which i have to use with MSI packaging.

The Script shall work on Windows XP, and Windows7, 32 og 64 bit.

When you have a CLEAN machine, the first script shall run.

1) The First Script shall run on CLEAN PC:

Go through the HOLE REGISTRY and WINDOWS FILESYSTEM, and then make a CSV file, with all the input with REGISTRY entries and FILESYSTEMS, from the PC.

After that, the "Software is being installed, which have to be captured " and when you have compield the MSI file, then Script 2 Shall run.

2) The second script:

Shall compare the CSV file and the MSI file, and CLEAN the entries in the MSI file, which contain the entries from the CSV file, and then it have to delete both Registry and Filesystem files.

3) IN the END, it have to make a txt or CSV file, which tells which entries have been deleted, so you can track back, if needed.

If you can make a easy script, which is understandable, i´ll be thankful.

Lookforward to hear from you all.

I hope you have deep pockets because a script like that will cost. Well, a properly-written one would.

In any event, why would anyone bother when there are free tools like InstallWatch which can provide the kind of "Before" and "After" snapshots you describe?

Well i dont have a deep pocket, but hoped someone could help, and after that, everyone will could use the script, since it will be on the AppDeploy.

About the InstallWatch, i dont this program, so i cant say anything about it.
but can this program find out, whats on the PC and compare with the MSI.

Or is its similar to Wise Package studio, " Capture "
