i want to get a particular key value from the INI file through the VB script.

Hi hari,
The First step u need to take is read all the lines of an INI file into a VBscript object say StrreadallLines and Second step is that use some string manupulations functions and get the value.some what complicated but the result is fast.

the solution on the site you mentioned is not that difficult to implement. Basically paste the class he wrote into your script and then use the LoadIni and GetValue functions to get values from your ini file.
