Using Service Desk Auto Archive

Has anyone got the Auto Archive feature to work? I have a very large amount of tickets I would like to archive over time.

I have enabled the archive tab then set my queue to archive tickets 2 years old. I went back into settings and selected to "archive & purge now". It takes me to the archive tab but does nothing.

On another note I can do a search of the 2 year old tickets. I do a select of the first 150 then select to manually archive them over. This seems to work but moves 1 ticket ever 30 to 40 seconds, At this rate it will take me weeks to move these tickets.

Any info on this would be helpful. I tried to search the site but I cant find anything on the topic.

Mine seems to work fine. Remember you have to turn on archiving and then within each queue set the thresholds. You might have to wait for the backup to happen. I don't know if it will happen asap or at the normal nightly backup.
