Usage of Msiexec comand line

I see that in our SCCM environment a number of application s have been deployed using a commandline as follows,

msiexec.exe /m MSIKCFNY

I am not sure of the purpose of this command line.

/m creates a status .mif file:

thanks! i guess MSIKCFNY is the file name.
