When i install the application with the mst created it should install application to c:\progra files\app folder but its installing file directly under c:\program files\, Looks like one of the cuustom action is not working :(

Your help is appreciated..

What do you have INSTALLDIR set to ?

Also, check you have ISSETUPDRIVEN=1 (not ISSETUPDRIVE).

Either the feature is disabled, or you do not have sufficient permission.

Have a look under "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield"

i got is its there in HKLM :) Thanks anyways

I had created transform & the application was suppose to install in c:\program files\app folder but it is installing in c:\program files directly..

If i install the vendor msi directly it will install in c:\program files\app folder

Note: I was checking the INSTALLLEVEL Property ->3 & in the feature table the level -> 1

I was looking into msi & i see lot of advertising registry entries, Can i have those as part of registry itself rather than advertise?
