Upgrade

Hi,

I am facing a problem realted to Upgrade.

Old version of app is 4.4.0 and new version is 4.5.0. Product code of both app is different, package code is different. RemoveExistingProducts is sequenced before InstallInitialize in InstallExecuteSequnce table.

I have added entry in Upgrade table.

Still, when I install newer version it doesn't uninstall older version.

Both the applications get installed on machine.

I am wondering why this major upgrade doesn't uninstall older version from machine.

Any expert suggestions please.
Many Thanks

Hope the below are also taken care:

1. Upgrade code of both the packages are same.
2. Upgrade table ActionProperty entry is present in the SecureCustomProperties
3. ALLUSERS property is same as previous app (=1)
4. Check min. & Max versions.

Hi djain3,

Are their any CA's before CostIntialize.
Try Sequencing the action above Cost Intialize and doing so will generate ICE 27.

Check for the FindRelatedProducts action. Is there perhaps a condition set on this one, is it even present and set to run before RemoveExistingProducts?
