updates not finishing
Hello everyone,
I am having a problem with an unattended update for Visio 2003 SP1, I am running SMS 2003. I download the SP1 executable and create the package with the /q switch, then I create the advertisment and send it out. The client grabs the advertisment and installs it but the update will not stop running... I have googled this to death and have tried multiple switches to try to get this work, and nothing... If I kill the process and check to see if the files have been updated they have but SMS shows it as failed... Any help would be much appreciated.

Well I'm not exactly sure what is going on there but usually when a SMS package hangs it's looking for user input. I would double check that your install is truely silent.
