uninstalling reg key and being replaced?
hi - couldnt find a search for this problem im having
im have created a package and amended a registry key to 1, when uninstalling this package it strips/removes the registry key which is fine. my question is when i want the key to remain during uninstall but the valve of the key to changed to 0
not sure if this operation is possible ??

Hi magic,
you need a custom action for this kind of work.
You could use the reg.exe utility, which comes with XP.
