Software Deployment

Hello,

I am a newbie here so please forgive any mistakes I make. I am trying to uninstall quicktime and it has become a nightmare for me. I have repeatedly went through the uninstall process to no avail. I went through my reg. editor and got rid of qts., qtx, etc. I went through System 32 and deleted everything Apple as well as program files. I have always gotten the error 2235, but after my actions I now also get error 2881. I went to Apple support and they simply told me it was a Microsoft problem not an Apple problem and they could not help me. This feels more like a virus than a legitimate program, how do I get every trace of it off my PC. I am running Windows Vista (32) on a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
