Unable to remove "Getting Started" from MS Office Word,Excel,PowerPoint

On launching MS Office 2003 Word, Excel or Powerpoint; on the right side of the page a column appears as - "Getting Started" on clicking there, it connects to online microsoft site. Even if I close it; the "Getting Started" column pops up everytime MS Office 2003 Word, Excel, Powerpoint is launched.
I did not find any registry entry which could suppress this "Getting Started" column on everylaunch.
Is it possible to suppress/close the "Getting Started"?

I timed it...

23 seconds in the company of ProcMon pointed me at HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Options\StartupDialog

I wish I didn't. I wish people would get with the programme and use the tools which are freely available before asking daft questions.
