KACE Product Support Question


Unable to reach this agentless device

We have a group of computers that have the kace agent installed on them and they show up in Kace.  However, it shows the machines are not connected and when i scroll over where the connection icon is, i see "Unable to reach this agentless device"  Anyone have ideas for troubleshooting? Thanks!

Machine:  Dell Optiplexes, variety of models
Agent:  6.4.180

Hello,


the most probable reason for this behaviour is that the machines are unable to reach the K1000 on port 52230/tcp.
the inventory is updated because to send it to the K1000 the agents uses port 80/tcp (443/tcp it you use HTTPS) but the heartbeat packet is sent over port 52230/tcp.
