Unable to patch a machine in our DMZ

I'm looking for info to go back to our network group with. We can have a working machine in our network that patches with Kace onsite. however when a machine gets placed in our DMZ, our Kbox still gets up to date details and properties about the machine, but is unable to detect or deploy patches. It sticks at "handshake". Our network group assures me nothing is being blocked. I'm unable to reach the Internet or our network from this machine so running something like Wireshark doesn't work. I've reviewed the ports on this page: https://support.software.dell.com/kb/111775

We do not have a Kbox running in our DMZ at this time. Only onsite.

Has anyone run into anything like this? Is there anything else that could block the ability to detect or deploy? Anything I can tell our Network group to check or try?

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Are they willing to create specific firewall rule for this machine in the DMZ? give it an ANY/ANY rule to the KBOX IP address only so that way you can test it. If everything works, then it is related to the firewall.
