Trying to update K1000 server appliance (can't open output file)

I am trying to update our K1000 server appliance from version 6.0.101863 to 6.2.109329. I see the update notification on the Home Dashboard and go to the Appliance Updates page. It shows our current version and the available update version and has a Update Now button to the right. When I click on the Update Now button, an error pops up saying that it "can't open output file". I have no idea what this means or how to allow it to open the output file in order to do this update. Any suggestions?
