Software Deployment

[font="Trebuchet MS"]I am looking for recommendations when creating transforms. We currently have Wise Package Studio 3.2 Professional. I have had issues using InstallTailor successfully. With some MSI installs (usually Installshield) InstallTailor will not complete (or start) the transform creation process. A few times I have created the MST file using InstallTailor without a problem but then had an issue with something in the installation when using that transform.

I have used an older version of Installshield Tuner and was impressed with it, but Tuner is now only available as part of Adminstudio and I would prefer to stay with Wise. What experiences have you had using Tuner? Would upgrading to the latest version of Wise Package Studio give me a significantly improved version of InstallTailor? Does it better handle Installshield MSI installations? (On a side note, why can't Installshield create 'normal' MSI installs?) Would I be better off just creating the MST using the Windows Installer Editor rather than InstallTailor?
