Total Noobie Question

Hi,

Apologies in advance for what is a noobie question. I guess we all have to start somewhere.

We have been allocating software via GPO without any issues on our 2003 network. We have been using .mst files where they have been provided, or a customisation kit has been given.

However, and here is the question - where do you add switches in AD when allocating an msi out to machines? Is this the purpose of the mst file?

Many thanks for your patience,

GJE

You cannot provide any command line "switches" in a GPO. So you have to add any required property using the transform instead.
Any specific "switch" you are thinking about?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
