I just signed in now after finding this site and FINALY found a solution to fix the 1719 error with Windows Installer.

Why cant Microsoft make it that easy? Instead they say go there, click there, try there, read this (5 pages info), download that (ooops, sorry didnt work, try next one!)... [:@][&o][:(]
Just for the record; I do realize that computers can be a complicated thing and some things need to be considered before going into it, but to me it seems like Microsoft/Windows always make it harder than it is.
Theres a JUNGLE of info and nothing was even close to (as far as I looked) this easy as your fixing guide was.
