Temporarily Suspend K1000 Deployment Activity

Is there a way to temporarily suspend K1000 deployment activity (i.e. automated scripts, managed installs, patching) without taking down the server itself?  I'm looking for a setting to take the server offline without actually taking it offline.  Occasionally (4 or 5 times a year) I need to suspend all network activity from the K1000 and I don't really want to shut the server down to do it.

change the ip on the nic temporarily like you do for an upgrade

All of those things can be disabled individually.
