SQL Server 2008

I'm trying to install SQL SERVER 2008 silently with the help of configuration file, but it's displaying the error message "Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installation failed.". But .net framework 3.5 SP1 is already present in the system. and Windows Installer 4.5 is also present.

When I install the application manually the installation continues.

Any idea on suppressing the issue with .NET Framework so that the Silent installation continues without any issues.

I dont know about configuration file you are using, but i packaged it earlier by using the following command line and it worked.

setup.exe /Q /ACTION=install /FEATURES=Tools

Might want to have a look at this.
