SMS: resume install after reboot client?

Hi, is there a way to resume deployment after rebooting the client PC?
Context: we need to deploy a package, therefore first of all the previous version needs to be uninstalled and pc needs to be rebooted. After reboot, the installation of the new version should start. Is there a way to do this?

One of the easiest ways to accomplish this is to chain two programs together. For SMS 2003, create two programs: (1) uninstallation program and (2) installation program.

Program Setup: Configure the uninstallation program to restart the computer once the uninstallation has completed (General tab, After running: drop-down, select the option SMS restarts computer ). In the properties for the installation program, click the Advanced tab, check the checkbox next to Run another program first: and enter the name of the uninstallation package and program.

Advertisement Setup: Create the Advertisement and point it to the installation program, which will first run the uninstallation program and then reboot before running the installation program.
