Smart Label based upon SSID?

Our district is in the process of moving over to a new wireless network.  Really just a new SSID and password.  Security settings and IP range will be the same.  I created a script in our K1000 to change to the new SSID a few weeks ago, and now I'd like to make a smart label for any device using the new SSID.  Any ideas on how to do that?  A thought I had was to create a custom inventory field showing network profiles, but is there way to search/filter based on that information?  Or does anybody know the SQL to make it happen?

98% of the computers I'm looking at are Windows 7.  There are a few that we've moved to W10..

If you have a custom inventory rule that pulls in the network profiles you can create a smart label for machines where the CIR contains the name of the old SSID.

  • Nice! I didn't realize that the CIR would show up as a Smart Label category once populated. I guess I should've tried first... - nicolebeth 6 years ago
