Single Office 2016 Component - Skype for Business Full

I want to deploy the full (with enterprise voice) version of Skype for Business 2016. The downloadable offline installers are only the retail versions which don't include the enterprise voice features.

I have used the Office 2016 customisation wizard to only install the SfB feature which works.

However when I sent it out via SCCM the entire Office 2016 media gets downloaded and cached to each client - which is around 800mb.

Is there a way to extract the files needed just for SfB out of the Office 2016 media, to reduce my network traffic?  (we have some slow sites)

BTW - this is nothing to do with Office 365 - it's a managed system by a third party - so basically it looks like its on-premise.

Thank you

Short answer is no.

Sounds like you have an enterprise agreement and have access to full fat office (msi). The only way I think you could trim on traffic is install from DP, but that means you need DP's at slower sights. If traffic is a problem, why don't you enable client sharing, where the pc can act as a DP to local computers?

Correct with everything you have said.

I was hoping there was a way to strip out the SfB (Lync.msi) out of the media. I tried this and it was asking for missing files.

Thank you for your clarification and help.
