When we create a new distribution since the upgrade, when adding systems to receive the software when the distribution is saved the systems don't show as needing the software even though they do not have it installed. Also, when we try to use the run now feature it says that the systems are not online even though they are checking in to the device inventory. And if you click "run now" all the software configuration information is gone, if you then hit save it saves a second distribution with the same name but no info.
Any help or ideas appreciated.

  • Check that your agents are updated and also check that after the upgrade the MI package is associated with the correct software catalog item
    • all of that is working fine... first build of a software distribution and all systems have updated agents and are communicating fine. The original distribution is pointed to the correct item but when the "run now" is selected all but the name goes away and it tells me the system is offline even though it shows active and checking in.
  • Is the software title set to deploy to the operating system versions on the target devices?
