KACE Product Support Question

Since Latest K1 Update, Things are VERY Slow

07/28/2020 123 views

Not in the GUI, but when doing a Run Now of a script, or a Forced Inventory, etc.. It used to be that I could do a Forced Inventory, and usually have an inventory within a minute, maybe two. Now it takes 1 to 3 hours. When running a Run Now script, it used to take a few minutes; now the Running or Pending phase may be an hour or two.

Anyone else seeing this sort of behavior?

  • What sort of figures are you seeing on your load average for the appliance?
    • Where would I find this info? The Dashboard shows 853 connections, at the midpoint of the graph, and 470 Current Scripts, near the peak of the graph. I've been suspecting some sort of wild script run, but haven't found anything yet.

Please do the Following:
1. which version do you use? (appliance version, hypervisor)
2. where do you see the performance flaws?
3. Please review these two articles to check for usual performance tweaks:
