Silent install of Ad-aware SE pro 1.06
I am trying to install ad-aware SE pro 1.06 and remove ad-aware persoal 6 and SE Personal
I was wondering does anybody know what the command is to install ad-awere SE pro in silent mode and remove the older verion of Ad-aware of the machine and put the icons on the desktop for everyone.

ok u r correct.
however there is no "easy" way to do this with non MSI applications.
You can however try looking in the registry uninstall keys to find the command line which is used to uninstall the application when add / remove programs is used.
each application is different depending on the installation methods used by the vendor. if it was an MSI it would be considerably easier, perhaps worth investigating a repackage scenario for future apps as this would suit your current requirements a little better.
