Silent install for Razorcat Tessy

Are there any silent parameters for Razorcat Tessy?

If i unzip the .exe-Installer and try installing the .msi with the usual parameters /qb-!, nothing happens and msiexec lasts forever

  • What does a verbose log tell you? I'd wager a hefty sum that it's an InstallShield EXE with a check in the MSI that interrogates if it's being run by that EXE. Typically, there is a property ISSETUPDRIVEN which you need to add to the transform or command line.

Obviously, a verbose log will tell you why the package isn't installing.

MSIEXEC.EXE will always stay in memory after it has been run once. It's the 'server' process. - anonymous_9363 10 years ago
  • The Log says
    "Property(S): UNAUTHORIZEDEXEC_ERROR = Unauthorized to start the MSI installation/uninstallation!"
That sounds like your suggestion about ISSETUPDRIVEN is right, but it also says
"Product: TESSY -- Installation completed successfully."

I tried installing it with ISSETUPDRIVEN=1, but still the same Log and same result - EbrithilBowser 10 years ago
