Shortcuts not copied with Windows XP

Hi,
I'm clueless right now,
I've created a package using Wise 5. The OS I was using was Windows 2000 at the time of the capture and I deploy it on either Win2K or WinXP. Usually that is what I'm doing and I have no problem.

With the one I've just created all the shortcuts are copied if I'm using Win2k, but on WinXP no shortcuts appear. But the MSI says the installation was successful and all the files are copied where they should. I can even start the application going directly on the EXE file and I have no problem. But no shortcaut appears

I don't have any condition for the OS set.

Anybody have a clue where I should look for

I did that, actually all my instalaltion generate a log, that is how tha quality assurance is made in part!
The log says that everything was succesfull. When it gets to the shortcuts, there is no error.
Even the Event Viewer show nothing

Are you talking about startup shortcuts or desktop shortcuts ?
Can you upload your log somewhere ?
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
