Shortcut problem in MST
HI,
I am doing MST For one application. Its having three shortcuts. defaulty its pointing to Startmenu/programs where as i have to move those shortucts to another folder under Startmenu/programs/<<APPNAME>> . those shortcuts are not advertised .two shortcuts are pointing to exe s where as the third shortcut is pointing to the document file. If i move that shortcut to Startmenu/programs/<<APPNAME>> the icon of the shortcut is not coming . It s going to differ from the orginal shortcut Icon. Can any body plz help it out. its a vendor MSI

Check if the MSI is an InstallShield built MSI. Then try transforming it using InstallShield Tuner. If that does not work or is not and option I would try editing the MSI directly. Unortunately I would also suggest using DevStudio to do this. Not that I am horribly biased to InstallShield but that seems to be the easiest method from my experience.
