Shockwave silent install
Hi I am sure I am missing something obvious and have spent a day searching [&o]
I am trying to get all our core apps installed via MS MDT and am having varying degrees of success.
I have downloaded the Shockwave distributable and am having the following problems
if I use the .exe with /s switch it installs and successfully completes but the close dialogue box stays open until you click ok - once you click ok everything carrys on and finishes with no errors.
If I use the .msi with the /qn switch the install fails with error code 2 returned.

As ever, a verbose log will tell you exactly what's going on. I suspect that the set-up stub is passing a property (or reading an INI/INF/XML file containing some directive or other) which isn't present (or set differently) in the MSI.

We have had success with extracting the msi from the exe and generating an mst to apply customization. We've used the /qb-! to perform a silent install.
