Setting up Notifications for installations through the User Console Library from the service desk
So I want to offer the users a range of different software packages through the User Console Library from the Service Desk. Now while I was testing this, I got the feedback saying it would be nice if it show a progress bar or a message when the installation is done.
Now I looked in the K1000 bud couldn't find anything for this, except for the messages you can setup for a installation but that does not work through the User Console Library.
Is it even possible to let users know how the installation is going or if it's finished?

You can't bring in the pre/post messages from Distribution unfortunately. - nshah 9 years ago
My issue is large downloads, it doesn't say it's doing anything at all while it's downloading. I know my users will just try it again and again, over and over without some notification. - jwilton 8 years ago
