setting name for msi in installshield
hi all,
In InstallShield, where can you specifiy the filename for the msi you want to build. It defaults to the ProductName from the Property table. Can this be changed to something else for every time you click on Build?

The following applies to InstallShield 10.50 Pro - AdminStudio Edition, so I hope this will be applicable.
Assuming you are working with an ISM project file, then in Installation Designer view, click on Releases. You should see your release(s) listed in the middle section of the display.
Clicking on the icon for Product Configuration, you should have an opportunity to enter a Product Name for the release - by default, it is blank which means the MSI will be named as per the ProductName property (as you have already observed).
