Second Public Release of Secure Browser Now Available

I'm pleased to announce a new update to the Secure Browser! We've added support for 64-bit Windows, updated to the latest release of Firefox and addressed a few bugs. Not listed here is an issue reported where Secure Browser will not start and gets stuck in a mode where it is consuming 100% CPU. We have not been able to reproduce this situation in our labs but think we have addressed the problem; we look forward to your feedback to confirm this is the case.

From the release notes, v5.1.1657 includes...
  • Supports Firefox on 32- and 64-bit Windows.
  • Includes Firefox 3.6.8
  • Fix bug 10139, first file download shows "Canceled" in Downloads
  • Fix bug 11822, hang on file download
  • Fix bug 11903, provisioning a client will overwrite newer VK files with older files

Please download the latest (and install over your old version) at http://www.kace.com/products/freetools/secure-browser/
