Scripting Issues -- Clients not reporting Script Status

When I run scripts, most of my computers are not reporting back that the script has run, even though it has. An example would be forcing a check-in on a group of clients -- the clients check-in , but on the run now status screen it says 0/20 clients in the completed column. Any ideas or thoughts as to what might be causing this? Thanks.

I'll infer that some are reporting back which eliminates a few questions:
  • Are the targetted PCs connected via AMP?
  • Do you see a task for that kbot (script) in Settings->Support->Ts tools->tasks->View by ->task type->kbot*?
  • How busy is your kbox otherwise? Are the kbot tasks waiting on other tasks to complete?
If 0 are reporting back:
  • do you have agent log retention on (settings->general or settings->organizations)
  • are their failures to update scripts (would have to view agent logs or open a support ticket)

I'm seeing the exact same thing. I actually went in and cleared out all tasks that were waiting, etc. When I run the script, I can look under computer inventory and see that the machines refresh time was a few seconds, but the scripts still show as 0/25, etc. completed.

All the PC's are connected via AMP. I see the script in the task, and it says it is complete. Our KBOX is not busy at all.

I have the agent retention log on, in the client scripting logs it says the script ran, and completed, but on the run now status page, it says 0 of the clients have completed. whenever I run a script.

We are also having the same issue.

I have enabled the agent log retention and scripting interval is 4 hours. However script status is not updating in Run Now Status area however it is updating the logs when we check through the computer inventory.

I found my solution !
In agent settings => change log retention to "save all logs".
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
