Scripted Image
Is is possible to either convert a scripted image to a system image? Or deploy a scripted image via USB?

USB deployments are for System Images only.
You will need to deploy your Scripted Install, Sysprep the image (recommended) and capture it.
That way you will have a vanilla Windows OS Image, that's able to receive drivers and tasks via Post Install tasks.

Why not just deploy your scripted installation to a system and then capture the image To deploy from a usb?
