Script to convert user to admin on MacOS
Hi,
I'm trying to create a script that will add a user into the admin, It runs and complete but it doesn't work. when I run it locally on the machine the script work but when i run it from KACE SMA it dosen't.
it's an offline Kscript (I also tried online Kscript, but same result, runs and 100% complete but the user on the machine is still standerd)
This is the script dscl . -append /groups/admin GroupMembership user
Any help/suggestion is much appreciated.

Here's the command I use with an online shell script:
dseditgroup -o edit -a username -t user admin
where username is the username being added to the group.
e.g.
dseditgroup -o edit -a chucksteel -t user admin
