I have been beating my head against my desk for about an hour now.  I can't get this installation package to run from SCCM with the transform.  I can run it command line perfectly and the transform is applied, but when I run it from SCCM using the same command line SCCM decides it wants to be emo and not use the transform file.  No type-o's it just doesn't use it and it's got me frustrated.

Here's the command line:

msiexec /i "Outlook-Addon-1.00.0000.msi" TRANSFORMS="MyOptions.mst" /q

I tried running as a package from definition.  Allow users to intereact, always run from source folder, per-system-unattended

 What else can I try?  Are there known issues with SCCM2012 and applying transforms?

  • Ha, ran across something very similar today. You answered my question. Very odd. What did you use to create the transform?
  • I used AdminStudio 11.5 - Tuner to create the transform.
