SCCM2008 client failed to get windows update

all SCCM 2008 clients cannot get windows update from Software Center but Application deployment works.

Could you possibly provide *less* information? Do they get presented with updates in SC but, when selecting them for installation, they get errors? Are you automatically updating? Forcing updates? What? We don't know because you haven't told us!

Now, one thing that SCCM does really well is log stuff. Boy, does it log stuff! That's where you start. Use CMTrace rather than a text editor to look at the logs, as it highlights errors in red, making them easy to spot.

In Software Center, only see application deployed (no windows update displayed, so I can't select)


Yes, windows update is automatically generated monthly, it will force updating on all clients.


Which log should I check?
