SCCM Intergration with USMT 4.0
Hi All,
I am trying to use USMT 4.0 with SCCM 2007 R2.As per the details given in Google I have created the three task sequence variable.
But when I publish the task sequence the os upgradation(Xp to Win-7) is not taking place.I am newbie to SCCM.
It would be great if any one can point me to right direction on how to go about troubleshooting this.
Also kindly let me know if anything else has to be done for this(USMT with SCCM).
Could you please also confirm if WAIK installation creates a tab under task sequence of OSD?

If you're asking what you need to set in the OS Task Sequence, take a look at the sample .XML located here: http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1633-sample-xp-to-windows-7-task-sequences/ (you may need to get an account on the site and log in to be able to download it).

When I am running the task sequence as suggested(http://blogs.technet.com/b/cpnfiguratiomgr/archive/2010/06/30/how...).
I am get an error message saying that "windows couldnt parse or process the unattend answer file for pass(specalize).The setting specified in the answer file cant be applied.The error was detected while processing settings for component[microsoft-windows-shell-setup] "
Any help on this is really appreciated.
