Runtime Error
I am trying to package an application using SVS Altiris and then we deploy it through Scense
Everything seems to package fine, but when i log into a machine and run the program it installs fine then i get a Runtime error.
Runtime Error!
Program: 'C:\Program Files\Mindscape\Mavis Beacon\MAVIS.EXE'
This application as requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the Applications support team for more information.
Anyone seen something similar before?

Sounds like it's missing some dependency.
Use dependency walkt and/or process monitor through the layer to find out more why the error occur.

Follow the VBScab Best Practise for Re-packaging - use a lightweight snapshot tool (I use Ziff-Davis' In Control) and run the vendor's install over the top of your package, incorporating into your package anything relevant which the snapshot throws up. That way, you know for sure that your package matches the vendor's install in every relevant respect. It will also pick up stuff which you may have over-zealously removed.
