RIS Blues

Hi,

I am trying to make an RIS image of a computer. I used riprep to prepare the image and send it to the RIS server. Everything seems to be working fine.

I tried to install the same image that i had prepared and sent to the RIS server, using the RIS Installation (F12). However, after selecting the OS image from the display i get an error message that states,

"Network Drivers are not found so image cannot be copied. Try selecting other OS images or contact your system administrator"

Now, i am the system administrator, so i don't think i will be able to contact anyone [8D]

Anyway, please help me out understanding the problem. Moreover, isn't there any way where we can make a hardware image of the computer, just as in Ghost. Please help me with my RIS Blues.

thanks a lot in advance,

With Best Regards,
Tushar Singh

You might want to scrap RIS and look at BDD 2007. It's also free.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
