Replacing file thru Patch
I need to replace files in an installation with new files thru a patch, the problem is the new files have the same version no. as the ones they are replacing.
I can't bring these files in thru a patch as Installshield won't replace the files unless the version is different to the files already installed.
Is there any solution to this?

How about the REINSTALLMODE public property?
msiexec /p Blablabla.msp REINSTALL=ALL REINSTALLMODE=amus

I have a same situation but the problem is I'm new to InstallShield. You mean do it in the same project through PATCH DESIGN or diff proj. I have about 200 files to modify. Please help me resolve this issue. How Should I use this REINSTALLMODE PUBLIC PROPERTY.
