Repair a component on launching a shortcut
My requirement is as follows
Every time a user clicks on a shortcut I want a particular component to be repaired.This particular user who launches the shortcut is just an ordinary user(not admin or power user).
Can this be achived and if yes how?
Any help is appreciated.

So you only want one component to be repaired but none of the other components?

Yes Just one Component.I want the registry entries in this component to be flushed everytime user launches the application.

Could you just change the registry permissions on the key so that the user can't change the value?
