- Is there an entry for the application in the Package KB?
- What sort of 'web application' is it? An client-side ActiveX control? A server-side COM+ app?

Also, you haven't got a hope in Hell of having anyone list out for you the steps required to build an MSI for *any* application. Problems answered? Hopefully, yes. Free training? Sorry, no.
