Recompress AIP

I have an AIP that I wish to recompress using wimakcab.vbs. The problem is I will be pushing this over a very limited bandwidth connection so I have deleted a few large files that are not needed by the installation. I have created a transform that excludes these files during installation. Wimakcab.vbs complains about the missing files. Other than actually modifying the original msi and dropping the files from the file table is there a way to accomplish this?

It's only a script, Joe. Edit it so that you can pass an exclusion list, either in a dictionary or an array. Done properly, you could have it read a file containing a CRLF-delimited list of files to exclude.

<Cludge>

... or you could always 'cheat' and replace the large files in your AIP with zero byte files of the same name

Like it, like it...

(Shouldn't that be "kludge", BTW?)
