Question about Monthly Metrics

Which is the best time and day(s) to run the Weekly Metrics Reports so it can match up to the Monthly Metrics Report totals?

Is there a way to set it up in custom to run it automatically each month?

Yes, you can schedule reports in Reporting, Report Schedules. 

I'm not sure what you mean by matching weekly and monthly reports. I would think that weekly reports would always run on the first or last day of the week, and monthly would run on the first or last day of the month.

  • When we ran the Monthly Metrics Reports and the Weekly Metrics Reports. The following amounts do not match. The number of tickets closed for the month. When I added the number of closed tickets for each Weekly Metrics its a different amount. Total open tickets, Open Over 30 days, Open Over 60 days, Open Over 90 days.
    • That makes sense, though. The weekly reports will rarely line up with monthly because weekly is based on day of the week and monthly is based on date. It can really only happen if February 1st is on a Sunday, right? Or am I missing something?
      • The Weekly Metrics are ran on Monday eve and the Monthly Metrics are ran every 1st of the month. Would it make a huge difference if the Weekly Metrics were ran on another day of the week?
